Welcome to Southern Stars...

The first Southern Stars Championship was held in 2009 at the Latvian Hall in Adelaide, with Leanne Halloran as our adjudicator.

The feis has grown over the years, and was run as a three judge Championship for the first time in 2011. Since then, we have separated boys & girls championships into separate sections, and added our Treble Reel Championships.

In addition to the competitions, our event is supported by a number of Irish dance vendors providing all the essentials. giving a great opportunity to stock up just before Nationals.

Our Roberts Academy families work tirelessly each year to ensure the smooth running of the event and provide a fantastic BBQ, canteen, and some pretty wonderful cakes.

In addition to Southern Stars, RAID also run a smaller feis each year in April. The Roberts Feis offers a full grades syllabus as well as three round Premierships. It's a valuable chance for dancers to test out their new dances at the start of the feis year.
